Netsprout.com version3.0 Launched!
Getting to version 3.0 of our web site was not a short process. Through multiple revisions and countless tweaking and adjustments in between, we finally arrived at our current design.
The initial design of our new web site began as a simple wireframe—laying out the basic emelents of the homepage.
The goal of this redesign was to create a more graphically focused site in which we could communicate the kind of work that we do—inspired web design based on standards and open source technology. The first "designed" version focused on heavy graphical elements.
At this point, we decided to tone down the graphics as it was overwhelming the content of the page and the message that we wanted to express with the design.
After another revision, we decided to move towards a cleaner design, using bolder colors and minimal textures, and creating a more readable page. All of the design elements are still there in a cleaner form.
After one more revision, the final design eliminated the unnecessary background image, opting for a much cleaner look and feel, reflecting the nature of standards-based web design and open-source technology.
